Aboriginal consultation: Round 3 workshop – October 2020**
For the Gwydir, Lachlan and Macquarie-Castlereagh Regional Water Strategies.
One of the overarching objectives of regional water strategies is to recognise and protect Aboriginal rights, interests and access to water. We have spoken to some Aboriginal people for the Gwydir, Lachlan and Macquarie-Castlereagh strategies. Two rounds of workshops have been held with Aboriginal people in these regions since December 2019. The workshop covers engagement with Aboriginal people, what we have heard and draft options.
