When finalised, the draft plan will replace the current water sharing plan which came into effect in 2011.

Report cards do not reflect the approach to limit change in areas heavily effected by flooding. Report cards for water sources impacted by this change in approach are marked with (FA). A fact sheet will be available shortly to detail the change for these areas.

Natural Resources Commission water sharing plan reviews The Natural Resources Commission (NRC) prepared a report and recommendations relating to the current Water Sharing Plan for the Greater Metropolitan Region Unregulated River Water Sources. The report and a summary can be found online.
