When finalised, the draft plan will replace the current water sharing plan which came into effect in 2009.

Natural Resources Commission water sharing plan reviews The Natural Resources Commission (NRC) prepared a report and recommendations relating to the current Coffs Harbour area water sharing plan. The report and a summary can be found on the NRC website.
Risk assessment (PDF, 3872.94 KB) A risk assessment was prepared to inform the development of the draft water sharing plan. The assessment evaluates current or future risks that directly relate to water availability or quality within the plans water sources.
