Draft Intersecting Streams Surface Water Resource Plan This water resource plan has built on existing water planning arrangements such as the statutory water sharing plans. The plan consists of the main body WRP (Chapters 1 to 8), accompanying Schedules (A to I) and Appendices (A and B). You can read them by clicking on the links below.
Schedule A: Draft amended for the Intersecting Streams unregulated and Alluvial Water Sources 2011 A number of changes to water sharing rules are proposed for the water sharing plan for the Intersecting Streams Unregulated and Alluvial Water Sources 2011 which the department is keen to receive feedback on. See WSP rule changes fact sheet to assist you in making informed comment.

Schedule B: Water Resource Plan Index—appears in WRP on page 69

Identifies the person responsible for implementation measures associated with each requirement in Chapter 10 of the Basin Plan.

Schedule C: Consultation Information

Report on the consultation undertaken in the Intersecting Streams water resource plan area as part of the Water Resource Plan process, including the Aboriginal Nation consultation. Not all Nation consultation in the Intersecting Streams Surface Water resource area has finished.

Schedule D: Risk Assessment information

The Intersecting Streams Surface Water Risk Assessment has been prepared as a component of the Water Resource Plan and identifies potential and emerging risks to water resources.

Schedule E: Planning for Environmental Water—appears in WRP on page 76

The outline of how the objectives and outcomes in the Water Resource Plan are aligned with objectives and outcomes in the long-term water plan (LTWP) and basin wide environmental watering strategy. Also identifies water management actions and mechanisms that provide for environmental watering.

An overview of water for consumptive use in the in the Intersecting Streams Surface Water Resource Plan area.

Schedule G: Water Quality Management Plan

The Intersecting Streams Surface Water Quality Management Plan has been prepared as a component of the Water Resource Plan and identified risks to water quality and potential strategies to manage these.

Schedule I: Intersecting Streams Surface Water Monitoring, Evaluation and Reporting Plan

The Intersecting Streams Water Monitoring, Reporting and Evaluation Plan has been prepared as a component of the Water Resource Plan, and its implementation will be key to evaluating the effectiveness of the plan in the future and informing any future changes.

The water resource description provides a comprehensive overview of the Intersecting Streams surface water resource plan area.

Appendix B: Long Term Water Plan

The New South Wales Office of Environment and Heritage is also exhibiting the draft Intersecting streams Surface Water Long Term Water Plan (LTWP) to allow stakeholder feedback. The Intersecting Streams Surface Water LTWP is part of the Intersecting Streams Surface Water Resource Plan package and has been developed to inform and guide water management and environmental water delivery.
