Public consultation is now closed

A draft of the NSW Water Strategy was on public exhibition from Monday 15 February until Sunday 28 March 2021.

All submissions are currently being reviewed and feedback on the strategy is being considered. Thank you to those who have made a submission.

Next steps

We are now considering all feedback received and will incorporate your views, ideas and feedback into the final strategy. We will then:

  • publish the submissions and a ‘what we heard’ document summarising the feedback we received
  • develop and publish the final NSW Water Strategy, which will include an implementation plan with timelines, and roles and responsibilities for implementing the actions in the strategy.

Please email the NSW Water Strategy team nsw.waterstrategy@dpie.nsw.gov.au if you would like further details about the development of this strategy.
