Leases, licences, easements and permits

The department supports a wide range of uses for Crown land. To ensure the land is used correctly, we are responsible for issuing licences, lease and permits.

  1. Land leased in Bega

    Leases

    Learn about how a Crown land lease enables exclusive use over a particular piece of land for a specified term and purpose.

  2. Field Licences

    Licences

    We issue licences to individuals, businesses and community organisations for a range of processes.

  3. Grass

    Easements

    Easements generally provide the right to access and use land while the legal title or ownership of the land remains with the owner of the land.

  4. Dirt road enclosure permit

    Enclosure permits

    We issue enclosure permits to individuals and businesses who have Crown roads within their property and want to avoid fencing the road out.
