Expression of Interest opportunity at Cessnock
The department is seeking Expressions of Interest to occupy Crown land being the former Cessnock School of Arts building at Cessnock.
The Crown land is situated on Vincent Street being Lot 60 DP 755215 and comprises an area of approximately 674 square metres with part of the former Cessnock School of Arts building along with courtyard.
The Crown land is currently a reserve for the purposes of “police boys’ club” and “community purposes (employment and training services and community radio station)”. We will consider proposals for uses that are compatible with or have no greater impact on the land than those of the reserve purposes.
The building would suit a range of community and/or commercial uses, subject to consistency with the reserve purposes and any planning controls that may apply.
