Opportunity to lease Crown Land for a tourist park

The Department of Planning, Industry and Environment, is seeking proposals (RFP) from suitably experienced  individuals or organisations interested in leasing, improving and managing beachfront Crown land at Tathra for a term of up to 25 years for the purpose of operating a tourist park.

Situated on the south coast of New South Wales, the 3.09 hectare site is known as Tathra Beachside Holiday Park. It is a fully operational, multi-award winning tourist park with over 500 metres of frontage to Tathra Beach. The park currently offers 180 short-term camping, caravan and cabin sites.

The RFP requires the successful proponent to undertake further capital investment in improvements to the facilities for benefit of visitors and the community.

The RFP is being conducted on behalf of NSW Crown Holiday Parks Land Manager (CHP), a Crown Land Manager appointed under the provisions of the Crown Land Management Act 2016. Trading as Reflections Holiday Parks, CHP administers a collection of leased holiday parks and recreational reserves on Crown land throughout NSW.
