NSW Creative Achievement Awards
2018 nominations now closed
The NSW Creative Achievement Awards are a NSW Government initiative to celebrate and reward outstanding achievements of individuals and businesses that help raise the global profile of NSW creative industries.
This year a new category is being introduced, the NSW Young Creative, this award celebrates and rewards outstanding achievers aged 25 and under.
Individuals, teams or organisations who meet the selection criteria for the awards are encouraged to self-nominate. The winners will be announced on 12 June at the Creative Achievement Awards.
There are three award categories for 2018 are:
- NSW Creative Laureate - this prestigious award recognises a candidate who has demonstrated significant leadership and made a significant contribution to increasing the global profile of NSW Creative Industries. The Award celebrates the very best of the state's creative talent.
- NSW Emerging Creative Talent - is granted to a candidate considered to be emerging in their sector, who has demonstrated leadership in originality and innovation and contributed to raising the global profile of NSW Creative Industries. This Award will offer support for future development with a $15,000 cash prize.
- NSW Young Creative Award - is granted to a candidate aged 25* or under, who is considered outstanding in their sector, who has demonstrated leadership in originality and/or innovation and contributed to raising the profile of NSW Creative Industries. This Award offers a structured mentoring program with a creative industry specialist from Creative Plus Business to the value of $3,000. Creative Plus Business operates in partnership with the NSW Government Business Connect program.

The winners will be announced at the Creative Achievement Awards on Tuesday 12 June at the Museum of Contemporary Art Australia.
