The NSW Government is encouraging NSW startups to apply to make a trip to Austrade’s Tel Aviv Landing Pad in September.

For the second year in a row the Government will send up to 10 Fintech and Cyber Security startups to the Landing Pad for an intensive 10 day experience in one of the world’s leading ecosystems.

The Government is calling for startups that are ready to take their product global and help build NSW and Sydney’s reputation as a leading Asia Pacific innovation hub.

Tel Aviv's community of world-leading entrepreneurs will give the selected innovative NSW startups opportunities to collaborate with Israeli experts and to receive mentoring on how to grow and commercialise their businesses.

The program includes participation in the biggest international innovation industry event of the year in Israel—DLD Tel Aviv - as well as:

  • Meetings with mentors to address business or technical challenges
  • Exploration of commercialisation partners supported under a new NSW–Israel  innovation agreement
  • Meetings and engagement with globally successful Israeli fintech startups
  • A co-working base at Israel start-up hub SOSA.

NSW is Australia’s ‘Startup State’ with 41 per cent of startups calling our State home. The NSW Government is committing to growing this ecosystem to create jobs and continue to nurture NSW’s reputation as a leading innovation hub.

Interested startups are encouraged to visit the Landing Pad website to apply for their chance to head to Tel Aviv for this career-igniting opportunity.

Applications close 10 July 2017.
