Darling Harbour Renaissance

The NSW Government has called for Expressions of Interest from the private sector to build and operate the Sydney International Convention, Exhibition and Entertainment Precinct at Darling Harbour.
The 12-hectare precinct, expected to be completed by 2016, will contain a diverse range of world-class convention, exhibition and entertainment facilities.
The precinct will include 40,000 square metres of exhibition space, capacity to host sporting and cultural events for at least 12,000 people, and high-class banqueting facilities for a minimum of 4,000 people.
A new upmarket hotel and public retail, food and beverage outlets are also expected to be provided.
