Berlin stage for NSW rail transport expertise

Six NSW companies are this week attending Innotrans, the world's largest exhibition focused on the rail transport and related engineering sector, with support from NSW Trade & Investment.

InnoTrans is the world's largest expo for the rail transport engineering industry, and provides an international platform for buyers and sellers of passenger and freight transport technology.

The expo is held every two years at the Messe Berlin exhibition centre, and this year is expected to welcome 2,200 exhibitors from 45 countries and over 100,000 trade visitors.

NSW Trade & Investment is working with the Department of Industry, Innovation, Science Research and Tertiary Education (DIISRTE), the Rail Supplier Advocate, Industry Capability Network (ICN), Australian Rail Association (ARA), Austrade to support companies at the event.

The NSW Government is assisting six NSW companies to attend the event through its Global Growth Program which provides companies with one-on-one export support from experienced Export Advisers for 12 months.

NSW Trade & Investment's export programs provide NSW exporters and would-be exporters with information about the basics of exporting, opportunities to visit target markets and expand internationally.

The six NSW companies attending with support from the Global Growth Program are:

  • Delkor Rail Pty Ltd (Regents Park)
  • Schaffler pty Ltd (Mona Vale)
  • OEM Technology Solutions Pty Ltd (Artarmon)
  • Marciano Industries Pty Ltd (Unanderra)
  • Pacific Rail Engineering Pty Ltd (Chipping Norton)
  • TTG transportation Pty Ltd (Sydney)
