Expression of interest nomination form

Cemeteries & Crematoria NSW (CCNSW) Community and Consumer Consultative Group

Cemeteries and Crematoria NSW (CCNSW), the NSW Government regulator of cemetery and crematoria operators in the state, is seeking a broad cross-section of the public and its representatives to re-convene its Community and Consumer Consultative Group.

This group is a high-level committee that will focus on the CCNSW Strategic Plan 2015-20 priority areas of respect, affordability and sustainability, land availability and governance. Please note it is not a decision-making body.

NSW residents with faith, cultural, non-religious, consumer and environmental perspectives are welcome to apply, as are community service providers with similar interests. This includes Indigenous Australians, funeral celebrants, not-for-profit funeral organisations, groups interested in cemeteries or crematoria such as ‘friends’ associations, humanists, ageing and welfare services, and small suppliers of environmentally-conscious interment methods.

Before submitting your application, please read the terms of reference for the CCNSW Community and Consumer Consultation Group.

Closing date: midnight Monday 9 September 2019
