The Tribal Warrior Association provides Aboriginal Cultural tours of Sydney Harbour as well as maritime training for Aboriginal people and people in need.

The Tribal Warrior Association is a non-profit Aboriginal organisation initiated and directed by Aboriginal people in consultation with Aboriginal elders.

Both our vessels, the Tribal Warrior and the Deerubbun, are available for scheduled cruises and corporate charters on Sydney Harbour as well as for maritime training.

As Australia's only Aboriginal corporate charter service operating in Sydney Harbour, we are 100% Australian, reliable, friendly, and our highly accomplished mariners strive to give all our clients a unique and memorable cruise experience.

As part of the experience, visitors will be introduced to the traditional owners of the land and provided with historic commentary and stories passed down from generation to generation on the Sydney Harbour clans and their hunting and fishing techniques as well as the first contact between Aboriginal and European people.

The Cultural Cruise also includes traditional Aboriginal dance and music and guests learn the Aboriginal names and meanings of significant Sydney landmarks. Significantly it is also the only cruise to take guests ashore a Sydney Harbour island, the beautiful and tranquil Clark Island. Guests also have the opportunity to talk with Aboriginal crew members.

Operating from Wednesday to Sunday from 1pm at No 6 Jetty Circular Quay, the cruise is an hour and forty five minutes long.

The Association also uses its gaff-rigged ketch Tribal Warrior and the Deerubbun to train Aboriginal people to attain their Master Class V commercial maritime certificate and other qualifications including Radar certificate, and Marine Engineer certificate, thus improving employment outcomes for Aboriginal people.
