Tobwabba Art is a 100 per cent Aboriginal owned artist collective providing employment and income for Aboriginal artists and staff. Located in Forster, Tobwabba Art Gallery is free to visit, with artwork exhibited available for purchase.

Beginning in 1992 with an Aboriginal art and culture course for the people of the local Aboriginal community, presently it is an art and design studio/gallery producing fine art, sculpture and designs for licensees.

The artists often use vibrant colours that are not considered 'traditional' but are representational of the life that surrounds them, such as the sea and lakes, which they combine with the more traditional symbols of their ancestry.

There may also be an artist on-site at the time of your visit, and you are welcome to wander into the Tobwabba Art Studio to meet and watch them at work.
