The Armidale and Region Aboriginal Cultural Centre and Keeping Place is a community-based centre where you can experience the diversity of Australian Indigenous arts and culture. You can also buy artwork from the gallery, try out bush tucker food or take a quality cultural tour.
Operating in a friendly community based environment, you will be greeted by one of our dedicated staff members who are available to answer questions and assist you in your quest to learn about Aboriginal culture.
We have many sections at the Centre including:

- a musical section
- an interactive corner for children
- a local heroes display
- historical and research room
- a lifestyles hallway
- bush tucker walk
- movie area and
- an archaeological section.
Our Echidna cafe also offers a range of morning tea and lunch options, all with bush tucker spices. Vegetarians are also catered for with a variety of Australian native flavours on offer.
The Centre caters for functions and conferences while offering high quality cultural tours and workshops.
Traditional Aboriginal paintings are for sale in our gallery as well as a fully-stocked gift shop offering Aboriginal artefacts and gifts which can be customised for individual buyers.
