Export Awards 2016 Logo

The finalists for the 2016 NSW Premier’s Export Awards have been announced. A celebration of the state’s exporting prowess, this year’s finalists represent an array of industries that showcase the many cross-sector strengths of exporters from across the state.

As global demand for our goods and services continues to grow and evolve each 2016 finalist demonstrates excellence in how they are meeting the changing market dynamics of exporting head on and in doing so demonstrating to other NSW businesses the great potential that exists off shore.

Judged in 12 national and 8 state categories, this year’s program has been marked by an increase in entries across Business Services and Education and Training. This follows an international trend towards services as key markets increasingly seek off-shore expertise to drive innovation and efficiencies in their economies. In 2015 international education was NSW’s biggest export service now worth $6.9 billion dollars annually, while business services brought $3.3 billion into the state.

The NSW Government looks forward to announcing the winners and celebrating the success of all NSW exporters at the 2016 NSW Premier’s Export Awards ceremony on Wednesday 26 October at the Star, Pyrmont in Sydney.

If you are interested in attending this event visit the Export Council Australia website to purchase tickets to the awards ceremony dinner.
