Business innovation in the Central West gets a boost

The NSW Government is partnering with Charles Sturt University to help boost business innovation across the Central West.

CenWest Innovate Program

The CenWest Innovate Program, based in Bathurst, will boost the innovation capabilities of small to medium-sized enterprises across the Central West by delivering training, events, workshops and support.

The program was launched on 29 March 2017 with a ‘Starting a Business Boot Camp’ for emerging entrepreneurs. It is part of the NSW Government’s broader Boosting Business Innovation Program.

Driving innovation

The NSW Government is providing $12 million to the state's 11 universities and the CSIRO - including $1 million to Charles Sturt University - to support their collaboration with local business communities. Charles Sturt University has a 100-year tradition of engaging with local communities and regional industries to drive innovation and entrepreneurship.
