Women's Online Network (WON) is a new digital platform for female entrepreneurs to network and share resources at any stage of the business cycle.

The platform features a suite of resources including business plan templates, business viability assessment tools, an event calendar, creative design resources, grant and funding information, marketing and website options, networking opportunities, and more…

WON members can post content to the platform to share their stories and experiences with other female entrepreneurs.

WON also features inspiring member stories, including:

  • Simone Eyles – developer of 365 Cups an award winning app based in Wagga Wagga that enables users to order coffee from a cafĂ© with their mobile phone.
  • Gen George -  founder of OneShift, a Sydney-based technology start-up which matches employers and staff for casual shifts.
  • Kasia Gospos – founder and publisher of Leaders in Heels, a leading Australian online community and magazine created to nurture, inspire and empower female leaders and entrepreneurs;

WON is an outcome of the Department of Industry’s Women In Entrepreneurship Network which was created to address barriers to business and assist female entrepreneurs with access to information and resources.

The platform was launched by NSW Minister for Small Business, John Barilaro, and NSW Minister for Women, Pru Goward, on August 3 2016, at a breakfast event with new, emerging and leading female entrepreneurs at Fishburners co-working space in Ultimo. Photos from the event are available on our Facebook page.

WON community members can talk on facebook or twitter using the hashtag #WONNERSNSW.
