NSW River Data Project
The river data project is an initiative of the Commissioner in response to community concerns on river flows, licensing and pumping events along rivers. The data displays publicly available river gauge data from government monitoring sites. The aim is to assist the reader to gain an understanding of long-term trends on low flow/no flow events, annual discharge, pumping events and water restrictions. Climatic data has been included for comparison.
The project has focused on the Barwon Darling River, Menindee Lakes and Lower Darling River. Regular updates of the data are proposed.
