Port Kembla Community Investment Fund
The New South Wales Government established the Port Kembla Community Investment Fund (PKCIF) as an ongoing program to fund projects that activate, enhance and build community amenity for Port Kembla. It was launched by Gareth Ward, the Parliamentary Secretary for the Illawarra and South Coast at Port Kembla on the 8 March 2016.
Round 2 funding
Round 2 will be open from 31 March 2017 and close 31 May 2017. Applications are invited for environmental, public infrastructure and precinct activation projects seeking funding of at least $10,000 up to a maximum of $500,000 (GST exclusive).

How to apply
To obtain a PKCIF application form potential applicant organisations must:
- Register their interest with the NSW Department of Industry, and
- Meet with a department representative to discuss the eligibility of both their organisation and the proposed project
This initial assessment process is mandatory and not all enquiries about the program will proceed to the application stage.
